Emergencies
When we are closed, we refer all our emergencies to the Huronia Veterinary Emergency Clinic. The HVEC is set up specifically for emergency medicine and surgery, which differentiates it from a regular clinic that is just open for 24 hours. It is the only accredited emergency clinic in our region. There is at least one doctor on the premises throughout the hours that the HVEC is open, which is not necessarily the case at a 24 hour walk in clinic. The emergency clinic deals with the immediate problem, and is fully staffed to monitor every patient in their hospital. When we open in the morning, your pet returns to us for follow-up care.
