COVID UPDATE October 27, 2021

joanneUncategorized, Veterinary profession

Great news! Starting November 1, we will be allowing one family member to accompany their pet into the clinic. There will be some limitations, since we have to continue to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible given we will not be able to physically distance in our small exam rooms. We have added air filters to both exam rooms and I am pleased to let our clients know that all of our staff have been fully vaccinated.

  • We will still have a locked door policy. All food and medicine will be picked up curbside.
  • The family member allowed in the clinic must be double vaccinated and bring proof. We will continue to ask screening questions. A mask must be worn at all times.

Colborne Street Pet Hospital is pleased to announce that we are again accepting new clients and their pets as our patients, with some limitations.

Due to some physical issues of one of our Doctors, at this time we are limiting our new patients to cats and smaller breed dogs only (adult weight less than 40 lbs.).

Maintaining strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols is a priority, and traffic through the clinic is minimized as much as possible. In order to facilitate this, we have to book appointment times accordingly.

We will only be accepting new patients for wellness exams (general health exams, puppy and kitten visits, vaccine visits, SPCA exams), since we can schedule set times for those appointments. This will be for people who do not already have a veterinarian in the area. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any new patients on an urgent care basis. We do have space for same day appointments, but they are saved for our own client emergencies.

Appointment space is limited and we are currently booking at least one month ahead. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
